BOOKS

A system approach is needed to organize the huge amount of neuroscience information in such a way that higher cognition can be understood in terms of brain anatomy, physiology and chemistry. Some aspects of the system approach have been described in academic papers, but full treatment requires a book. My four books describe the system approach as I have developed it beginning in 1982.
